There are no words needed for this post, but isn't this what Sunday's should feel like?

The Pink Trend Continues in Home Decor
I am not one to usually do outfit to room posts I leave that for my friends like Cassandra who do it so well. This room from December's House Beautiful has just taken root in my mind and then I fell in love with this outfit. Do you think one has to do with the other? You betcha!

No one would describe me as a pink loving girl but there is something so calming and serene about this bedroom, that I think my mind might just be changed. You might remember I wrote about the pink trend here. As I listened to a 2012 trend webinar yesterday it was interesting to hear they are still talking about pink and olive green paired together! So if you are just getting use to a little pink in your life get ready there is about to be a whole lot more! Thankfully there are all shades from the more pink grey mauve (yes they used that word) to the pink sands a very pale hue of our friend Honeysuckle!

Home Typography Tuesday
Here in the Northeast it feels as if it snows every other day...ok maybe it really does snow every 2 days! Regardless I am trying to be positive as I check the days off my calendar getting closer and closer to spring. When I saw this image over at Better Homes and Gardens first I fell for the EAT window treatment and than I fell for the sunshine yellow. Doesn't it just ooze a springtime feeling? I might need to replicate this in my own kitchen just to get through the winter!

Monday Morning Happy!
Last week I received a wonderful tweet from Jennifer of CRAVE Boston informing me I had a quote in the latest "The Nest" magazine! Can I just say, seeing your name in print never gets old! It is so fantastic to be included in the article "How To Organize Everything" with so many of my favorite bloggers!
Thanks to The Nest for including my tip and for being so open to featuring bloggers in your magazine!
Now it's your turn to share, what's your number one tip for staying organized?
"My three rules to organize by: fabric boxes, wooden wine crates and purging!" CreateGirl

Sunday Serenity
Sunday, my favorite day of the week, the day I take for me. It's the one day of the week where I try to not have anything planned and just greet the it with an open mind. No work, no commitment just hours to do what makes me happy. Now that could mean the satisfaction of cleaning out a closet, lounging with a book or meeting up with friends whatever it is, it is full of complete pleasure. On random Sunday's I will post a photo that exudes what "Sunday Serenity" is to me and at times I will have guest bloggers sharing their photos too! I hope you enjoy this new series!

A City Scene
Some photos just encourage daydreams and this one is no exception! The New York scene definitely has me dreaming of warm spring nights in the city! Wall decor that tells a story without needing one single word equals an instant buy for me....now to decide where to hang it!
Adding Texture with Pottery Barn Seagrass Chairs
Years ago when I came across Pottery Barn's Seagrass Chair I immediately thought coastal home, beach feel than I had a change of heart. While scouting for one of my Jace Interiors client's Dining Room I knew I wanted substantial texture to offset the wood, marble and silk fabric in the space the Seagrass was the perfect solution. It worked seamlessly and actually added to the warm tones of the room. Though I didn't want too much of a good thing so we mixed it up with custom upholstered slipper chairs which gave the formality we needed for a dining room!

Color Time - Benjamin Moore Royal Fuchsia
With Pantone selecting Honeysuckle as their color for 2011 it seems as if pink is popping up everywhere! With a ridiculous amount of shades out there this is one of my favorites. It could be the strong take charge tone of it or the way the designer has paired it with sharp white as a way to tone it down, regardless this is a pink I could live with!
What do you say, would you use this pink in your home?
**Note: The above room is the actual paint color not just a resemblance of the color. As you can see above, the paint chip sample online looks different than what is in the actual room photo. When choosing paint for your own home never go by what you see online, the color will always be a tad different. I suggest picking up a small paint sample at the store and paint a color swatch in the actual room, than you will never be disappointed!

Let's Talk - Framed Posters
This morning I came across this cheery yellow room (thanks Will!) and it immediately brought sunshine to this frigid winter day. Not only was I drawn in by the color but also the typography (shocking, right?!) in the poster. So what are your thoughts on framed posters? Are they acceptable if they are over sized like the 2 below? Do you consider them to be "artwork" or more just "wall decor"?
Do you have any framed posters in your home?

Wake Up Your Bathroom - Stylish Shower Curtains
If you are anything like me these dark winter mornings don't make it easy to get up and go like the summer mornings do! With this in mind I scouted out my 3 favorite bright and bold shower curtains to aid in my morning wake up routine...the extra large mug of tea helps too!
Reversible with a mid century feel? Yes please! The Galleria Shower Curtain from Garnett Hill is perfect way to indulge my need to switch things up every few months!
If you like the ruffle trend or if you can't quite decide on one color you will adore the Smoldering Hues Shower Curtain from Anthropologie! It will surely wake up all your senses!
What type of print do you have on your shower curtain? Is it bright and bold or more subdued?
Home Typography Tuesday
Today's "Home Type Tuesday" is also a "Let's Talk" post. Now you know how much I love my home decor and typography but the perfection part of my personality goes a little nuts with this arrangement. So what about you? Would you just throw some letters up on the wall without creating a word? Do you like this organized chaos or do you like your type neat?

My wishes for 2011
Good Morning Friends, Happy New Year! As we start off the first work week of 2011 I can not help but reflect on my post from the end of 2009. Below is the "Wishing Upon A Star" photo I included in my post, I loved it so much I printed it out and placed it right on the refrigerator. It was a symbol of all I wanted to accomplish in 2010 and guess what I can check every single thing off my list including meeting more blogger and twitter friends! Isn't the power of intention amazing?
This year the photo I have chosen to hang on the fridge door is this happy fly away girl which I found over at A Creamy Life. The entire image is just so optimistic! For me it will be a reminder to keep all my balloons organized and to take a leap as you never know where you will fly off to!
Continue to grow Jace Interiors with the main goal to bring affordable interior design assistance to everyone and let them know that no matter what size house or budget everyone deserves to have a beautiful space that reflects them! "Your Home Your Style My Assistance"
My social media life has taken on an amazing personality of its own and I have met so many amazingly creative people in the last year that I can't wait to see what this year brings! I have a feeling it will include more creative events, speaking engagements on how Social Media can help grow your company and opportunities for Social Media Consulting!
I would love to be so focused as to remember to do one thing a month outside of my comfort zone. This could be rock climbing, cooking a new dish, taking that Italian class or as big as calling that one mentor for advice!
What would you do to step outside your comfort zone?
I hope you all have a fabulous new week and new year!
