My wish for YOU

With 2011 ending I took a few minutes and scrolled through the entire year of CreateGirl posts and it was a wonderful walk down memory lane! Not only was I reminded of fun client projects I worked on and wonderful events I went to across the country but I was overwhelmed by the personal changes I went through! Thank you a MILLION times over for popping in here weekly and sharing these experiences with me. Your visits and comments inspire me, motivate me and constantly give me lots of love! I appreciate everyone of you! So with the year coming to a close these are the wishes I have for YOU in 2012

I wish for you, more time to enjoy your surroundings! Whether it is a quick walk through your city neighborhood or a hike through the country woods. Whatever gives you serenity and a quiet time out during the week day I wish you more of this.

Instead of emailing may you remember to pick up the phone for a "hello call" or mail a quick note to those you love from the youngest to the oldest! I promise this will not only brighten their day but your day as well!

I wish for you that the place you work is an environment of passion and encouragement. May your surroundings be one of calmness and organization (and if it is not may you be able to create a little bit in your corner)!

May we ALL take more time for ourselves in the new year to nurture our own souls! Whether it is taking a hour to indulge in a good book, calm our minds with exercise or sneak in that 15 minute nap when it is needed! Isn't it funny when we take the time to do any of the above items the rest of our lives benefit from it?

I hope all of your wishes and dreams come true in the New Year!

My wishes for 2011

Good Morning Friends, Happy New Year! As we start off the first work week of 2011 I can not help but reflect on my post from the end of 2009. Below is the "Wishing Upon A Star" photo I included in my post, I loved it so much I printed it out and placed it right on the refrigerator. It was a symbol of all I wanted to accomplish in 2010 and guess what I can check every single thing off my list including meeting more blogger and twitter friends! Isn't the power of intention amazing?

This year the photo I have chosen to hang on the fridge door is this happy fly away girl which I found over at A Creamy Life. The entire image is just so optimistic! For me it will be a reminder to keep all my balloons organized and to take a leap as you never know where you will fly off to!

My wishes for 2011

Personally I already know this is going to be a dream come true year for me and I am literally jumping out of my skin with excitement (more to come on this later in the month...)! My wish is to savor every single day moment of this time!

Continue to grow Jace Interiors with the main goal to bring affordable interior design assistance to everyone and let them know that no matter what size house or budget everyone deserves to have a beautiful space that reflects them! "Your Home Your Style My Assistance"

My social media life has taken on an amazing personality of its own and I have met so many amazingly creative people in the last year that I can't wait to see what this year brings! I have a feeling it will include more creative events, speaking engagements on how Social Media can help grow your company and opportunities for Social Media Consulting!

I would love to be so focused as to remember to do one thing a month outside of my comfort zone. This could be rock climbing, cooking a new dish, taking that Italian class or as big as calling that one mentor for advice!

What would you do to step outside your comfort zone?

Wishing Upon a Star for 2010

With the start of a New Year and new decade (gasp where does the time go...!) we are presented with the opportunity to start over. We can leave the struggles from the past year in the recycle bin and just carry forward the good memories. It's that one time of year where everyone seems to be much more hopeful in the unknown of whats to come! So here I wish upon a few paper stars in the hopes that this year is filled with:

good health for my family, many more creative & inspiring days, supportive people to collaborate with, the opportunity to meet new blogging/twitter friends in person and spending quality time with the friends I have here in Boston. Most of all to continue to bring you the best most affordable products and rooms I can find. If I inspire you, you inspire me!

2009 was a great year of growth for both Jace Interiors and CreateGirl and I am incredibly excited to see what 2010 has in store. Let the possibilities become my reality! What is your one creative goal or hope for yourself this year??

As the clock winds down.....

Pottery Barn

As the year comes to an end many people look back on what they have accomplished in the past 12 months and reflect on the things they hoped to have achieved. It's great to know the slate is cleared and a new year begins on Thursday, filled with new hopes and dreams! I love a good looking table top clock, it is a wonderful accent to any room decor. Here are a few of my current favorites! Most are void of the annoying "tick tock" reminding us all of just how fast time flies!
