Stalking with Jo of Desire To Inspire

Normally I am not one to duplicate a topic of a fellow bloggers post but I just had to share this house!! Forever I have been dreaming of a little summer cottage by the sea but when I popped over to Desire To Inspire and saw this sweet cottage just hanging out in a calm open field I thought....maybe I have a new dream!

I am loving Jo's "Stalking" series where she scours real estate sites and delivers up the most swoon worthy homes for sale. This is an instance where smaller is definitely better, it looks so cozy!

What more does one really need to relax? A bed, a comfy chair and a fireplace...pure bliss!

Add in an outdoor tub and you have just created a place you might never want to leave! Oh and the heat lamp on the deck is what sold me on this place!

Want a little daydream break yourself? Pop on over to see Jo's list of houses, though be warned you might not be so happy with your current dwelling!

Let's talk....write on it & painted legs

OK gang, can we have a little chat about this room? I came across it and was immediately WOWed but that is because I have a strange obsession with typography in the house. How do you feel about enormous letters painted on the wall? Would you ever consider this in your house?

We also have the style of painting one leg on a kitchen chair. I have to admit I could live with the letters but the painted leg, not so sure.
Please share your opinion in the comment section, I would love to hear from you!

The Tessalight

I came across this photo over at Desire to Inspire by the talented photographer Martin Cederblad. Than I recalled the fabulous Tessalight by Christine Price Hamilton. I am not sure if this is the same light but I would love to see it in this room! Imagine the glowing patterns this light would create on the bedroom ceiling?! Check out Christine's website to see the work see creates with just an X-Acto knife, thick paper and wooden beads. Just lovely!
