Home Typography Tuesday

Today's "Home Type Tuesday" is also a "Let's Talk" post. Now you know how much I love my home decor and typography but the perfection part of my personality goes a little nuts with this arrangement. So what about you? Would you just throw some letters up on the wall without creating a word? Do you like this organized chaos or do you like your type neat?

I like the organized chaos....think of all the words that can be created from the "jumble"....means a lot of staring at the wall, also great entertaining game

I think I like it better without forming a word, kind of messy looking.

i like it - i find my eye searching out words like a game of scrabble! I don't know if i could live with it forever though.

I like it visually but probably better in a retail application. Although I could see a whimsical use in maybe a child's room.

I love the "organized chaos"--it is consistent in its randomness, and I love that. The different sizes, weights and colors create a great rythm! Plus it is fun to see what associations come up with the way the letters are ordered (words?).

I like it! I think it can be hard to do 'organized chaos' and have it look good, but I think in this case it's awesome!

Thats beautiful. And I love that its not in a nursery. I feel like most people relegate the alphabet and letters to the spaces meant for little people that don't know it yet! And why can't us big people- who know it already- appreciate it too! Great image find!

I love it, I love the different sizes of the letters and the arrangement. Great focal point.

I'm loving the organised chaos - more relaxed and uncontrived for me! Thanks for sharing. Hannah

I just discovered you blog & loved it. I'm an interior designer from Melbourne, Australia & I found it very inspiring. Blogging is all new to me but I have just set up my own blog
scrapbook-melissah.blogspot.com
You may like to check it out because I had so much fun doing it. It's got a bit of everything fashion, interiors, food, travel spots - hopefully you will find something in there that you like.
Thanks for providing me with such great entertainment!
Cheers

I love it, but I am partial because I have something like this in my house. I collect vintage letters but limit them to my family's initials. It's funny how many people come into my house and ask if they spell something.
