Next Tuesday I will be back blogging with great images of cozy rooms and tips on "designing with what you have" in the new year. I hope you will join in on the conversation!
In the mean time I wanted to just send out a heartfelt thanks for the thousands of you who read CreateGirl on a weekly basis, I have enjoyed meeting many of you this year and always look forward to your comments!
Enjoy this holiday time with your loved ones and take an extra minute over the next few days to thank and hug someone you treasure!
See you next week,
Jul

So sorry to hear about your losses - what a terrible time of year for such sad news. I hope you still manage to have a wonderful holiday with friends and family! The images here are such a lovely way to start the day.
Oh, I am SO sorry for your losses. I too lost my g'pa years ago this very week. My heart goes out to you and the two families. Take the time you need to mourn and heal. Your readers will be here with "hugs" when you return. :)

Beautiful post. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Hugs.
You are truly a genuine and kind soul Julieann. So glad we have met, and I wish you all the peace and comfort you deserve for this nonexistent Christmas.

Julieann,
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma and your family friend. Losing someone at a time of year when everyone else is celebrating is particularly hard. My sister's father-in-law passed away last week and we've been spending a lot of time talking about what family means this time of year and really trying to make the most of all the moments. I hope you'll be able to relish in the many wonderful memories she's left with you. xosk
J,
So sorry to hear about your losses. I lost my father 3 years ago a week before xmas so I totally understand how you feel. Decorating, wrapping gifts and baking xmas cookies seems ridiculous when all you really want is to be with the ones you love and miss. Big hugs to you. Take care.
