Adoring Aqua Sky and Eames Plastic Chairs
The classic Herman Miller Eames Molded Plastic Chair is on sale over at Design Within Reach! HM has updated the line with 5 new colors for 2010 and I have to say I am in love with the Aqua Sky, doesn't it just look so sweet? If you do not know the history of these chairs check out the story here. Charles and Ray Eames are the most inspiring furniture duo!

four of these (in white) are on my 'to buy' list for my dining nook. it's the last real piece of furniture i need....i only NEED two but I WANT four :) i have always loved the look of them.
I have long dreamed of a white Eames Plastic rocking chair to put by a sunshiney window in my kitchen. Now that it's winter in Australia I think a little sheepskin snuggle rug would be just toasty over the plastic.
Oh, and to be greedy I'd love to own at least one sky blue as well, it would tell me where it wanted to live in the house I'm sure.

Herman Miller is one of my favorite designers! If I were to buy a few I'd probably go for a pastel set of different colors or maybe even black. I would love to use them in an outdoor dining set on a large balcony or porch -- easy to clean and maintain, looking extra bold.
I don't, actually. I have an old, old antique louis chair and a modern, lucite one. These are fantastic, though! I love the color + thanks for sharing :)

I have four acrilic ones, all different from eachother, and transparent in my dinning room!!
They are amazing, look amazing and everybody says "wow"when they come to my house.
