Wild for Windsor Chairs

This past fall when I was at High Point Market I popped into the Mitchell Gold showroom and was immediately smitten with their modern interpretation of the iconic Windsor Chair. Soon I noticed many other retailers introducing their own version of the beloved chair. Whether in the original bow back or the updated fan back there truly is a style and color for every house!

My favorite new Windsor introduction has to be the Crate and Barrel Willa Chair! It is available in Snow, Black, White, Dove and Peacock....YES Peacock! I am in love and might even add a few to our home office!

Take a look at this image from Veranda Magazine. See the little turquoise nesting table in the corner? I think we found an affordable option in the Mitchell Gold Mia table I blogged about yesterday. You can see it here. I love the Madison & Grow wallpaper and crisp clean feel of the room. Could the Sundayland "le telefon" table be any sweeter?!

Do you have a favorite store, one you go back to time and time again because the service is fabulous? Well that is Mitchell Gold for me. The guys who work in the Boston Store, Rock, Dustin and Andrew are fantastic, always chipper and excited to help out. Their attitude makes me want to visit many times over and in this economy happy people are worth seeking out! Below are a few of my favorite new pieces in the store.

Fantastic fabric and a great modern take on the "wingback"

Sweet graceful lines and tufted back is perfect at a dining table or tucked in a bay window. Just lovely!

Traditional lines, great interest as an accent piece. Use under a sofa table, at the end of a bed or with a vanity

Love these nesting tables in their high gloss finish of shale, the perfect POP of color!

Smaller sized sofas are fantastic and at times hard to find. This is 79"w and has clean, sleek lines
