My Type of Dressing Room

This is my type of dressing room....simple and organized without a lot of fuss. Yes I love those gorgeously decked out dressing closets we all see of celebrities, dolled up with gorgeous fabrics, opulent chandeliers and shelves for 100 shoes but really is that reality? Not for me! Now this space could be a reality without breaking the bank (I'll save that for shopping the actual clothing)! An enormous mirror which brightens the space, a roll or two of sunny wallpaper, a bit of paint that matches and a colorful chandelier and tada I am one happy girl! This is a place I would be happy to wake up to each morning!

For me, a dressing room is the perfect space for glitz and glamour. Makes you feel like a princes every time you get dresses!

I wish my closet looked like this! I have waaay too much stuff that I never wear that just clutters it up!

I'm all for a little glamour, but I'll settle for racks and racks of shoes however I can get them!

Oh, this is lovely! I enjoy your honesty, and truth be told, now that I actually think about it, I think I would prefer this dressing room, also. A large mirror is a must, as is great lighting and space. This space has it all -- and I much prefer the white shelving -- everything open and easy on the eyes. Lovely.

Hope you're having a great week -- can you believe that tomorrow is the big day? Rue! So excited!

Oh boy, this makes me want to clean up my messy master closet. It's a rather big size, which just means I stuff a lot of things in there that I don't otherwise know what to do with. Not to mention that my husband doesn't really understand why I would want to decorate in there. But yeah, I could totally do the glamour thing.

I just recently posted about wardrobe organizing in my blog, and I am with you on the glamour! If you have nice clothes, you should not hide them and forget that you bought them..!
I want my own showroom, all the bags and shoes on display.. good lighting and a big mirror.
Just now organising what I have packed away, so that I can find it when I need it. We have four seasons here, so I need to change the closet all the time.

I like understated, that way I wont confuse myself when searching for an outfit- I'd rather let the clothes talk then the decor in a closet. But then again, if I had unlimited funds I might want some crazy Mariah Carey type closet :)

I concur with you. This is perfect because it's girly but not overly so, nicely organized but not so perfect and it will help you look at yourself in natural light. Like in a studio, white works because it doesn't shade all like a color would with a slight hue of itself. The chandelier is a must -- love the one pictured.

I really like this one!! So simple yet beautiful. And everything would be easy to find.

This is the best of both worlds! The chandelier is so great!

I am a more understated type of person but you have to have at least a little glitz to make yourself feel special. I like this room because it is simple and functional with luxurious space and a few touches of glamour.
