Good Morning! If you are new reader to CreateGirl, welcome! Color Time is a weekly post not only about picking the perfect paint color but actually seeing that color in a room. Each room image included is the actual paint color not just a recommendation of a similar color! I collect these rooms because at times my clients need a little visual image to get the idea of how a color it will look in their own space!
I hope today's Color Time helped you visualize Jade Garden in your own home! Looking for more inspiration click here for past colors!
**Note: As you can see above, the paint chip sample online looks different than what is in the actual room photo. When choosing paint for your own home never go by what you see online, the color will always be a tad different. I suggest picking up a small paint sample at the store and paint a color swatch in the actual room, than you will never be disappointed!

Color Time - Ben + West Elm
Welcome to this weeks "Color Time"! When I received the latest West Elm in the mail I knew something looked different. This season there is a stronger focus on "custom" and decorating the entire room from ceiling to floor. If you have not received your catalog yet pop over to their website you will see the difference with more fabric options and a broader selection of bedding. What I am truly EXCITED about is their partnership with Benjamin Moore and pairing paint colors that work seamlessly with their finishes! Many times when I select a paint color for a client it helps to show them that color in an actual room setting and well West Elm has just assisted me with this task! Below are a few fabulous and might I say even trendy examples!
Looking for the perfect green that has a tinge of blue to it? This could be your solution!
We all know black walls are all the rage right now but if you don't want it so dark? Try "Almost Black" it has enough gray to make it bright!
Do you like this idea of furniture companies pairing with paint companies? Is it helpful for you?

Color Time - Benjamin Moore Showtime
It's color time again and today we are exploring a gorgeous yellow in the foyer. I would say this "Showtime" by Benjamin Moore would be a truly welcoming color for any home! It is warm & rich but still sunny & bright! This yellow tone is what I would refer to as a "Tuscan" feeling yellow as it has a bit of an orange undertone.

Color Time - Pale Smoke Benjamin Moore
For those of you who are just finding CreateGirl via NateDay, welcome! We have series named "Color Time" where I pick a favorite room, scout out the paint color and share it with you. Sometimes the best way to find a paint color for yourself is to see it in an actual room! Todays Color Time is pure Nate Style and features a soft gray which brings color to the room but takes a back seat to the gorgeous furniture!
Galley Sunshine
A great example of making a small galley kitchen bright with sunshiny yellow paint!
