Cole & Son Woods Wallpaper Two Ways

Cole & Son's Woods wallpaper is very popular which usually deters me from using it in projects but when I see it in small doses I must admit I really do like it! Just a touch to liven up a kitchen or to elevate stair risers create that wow factor I am always searching for!

Monday Morning Happy

Morning All! Last week I took some much needed time off to put the finishing touches on the wedding plans and let me just say it feels SO dang good to have made some decisions! Of course I can't reveal all just yet but I can share inspiration for the tabletop. I wonder how I would ever have planned a wedding without my trusty friend Pinterest?! Mr. Vog even said to me the other day "What did people do before the internet, look vendors up in the phone book?"...I shudder at this crazy thought!

Let's Talk - Open Storage in the Bathroom

I came across this bathroom from Nate Berkus and like the clean, sparse feeling of it. Though I wonder what is your opinion on open storage in the bathroom like this? Do you like your towels at arms length? Would it drive you nuts if they were not always folded just perfect?

I would love to hear your opinion!

Color Time - Benjamin Moore Appalachian Trail

At times you see a paint color and know immediately "this is it"! There is no better feeling then when you have found "THE ONE"! Anyone who has spent days agonizing over the perfect shade knows exactly what I am talking about! Take a look at Benjamin Moore's Appalachian Trail, it is the perfect mix of blue and green. The purple and yellow accents are a wonderful brightener to this paint color!

What room would you use this color in?

Looking for the perfect paint color? Check out past Color Time posts!

*Note: The above room is the actual paint color not just a resemblance of the color. As you can see above, the paint chip sample online looks different than what is in the actual room photo. When choosing paint for your own home never go by what you see online, the color will always be a tad different. I suggest picking up a small paint sample at the store and paint a color swatch in the actual room, then you will never be disappointed!

Dash & Albert + Pine Cone Hill = The Fabulous Annie Selke

Last week I received an invite that had me jumping for joy!! Annie Selke the creator of Dash & Albert and Pine Cone Hill invited a group of local bloggers and writers to a private dinner with her. Let me just say her team truly knows how to throw a fabulous dinner party! We ate well, drank well and most of all laughed for hours! Not only did I get a chance to chat with the hilarious and crazy talented Annie I had the opportunity to meet a few new local bloggers. Once again proving how important it is to get out from behind the computer!

Monday Morning Happy

Oh my goodness where did last week go? It seems I lost track of days and didn't get to even write one post! I promise this week will be better, thanks for sticking with me! So let's see, what was I up to last week? Ashley and I were locked in the office working on multiple projects, below was just one of the fabulous mood boards she created for one of our clients!

His Office

When pulling a room together, even on a budget we pull from all different sources to create a look that is just right for the space and the clients personality. Here we have items from Circa Lighting, Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Ballard Designs, Duralee Fabrics, Mitchell Gold, Art.com Serena and; Lily and Wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries.

Jason Wu + Dunes and Duchess No Scurvy Lemon

I was so honored High Point Market asked me to contribute an article to their latest newsletter. The topic was how yellow in fashion is having a big influence in home interiors this year especially in accents! My favorite pick from the runway was this Jason Wu dress and the accent that went perfectly with it, was the newly introduced Dunes and Duchess No Scurvy Lemon Candelabra! Such a happy duo!

Jason Wu - Target or Brizo?

As many of you have heard the uber talented Jason Wu is set to launch his affordable fashion line over at Target this weekend. I expect the lines to be long and for the collection to sell out in a matter of hours. The question then lies with us, fashion or interiors? Would you rather have a collection of super stylish clothes or a gorgeous faucet that will last you a lifetime?

Jason Wu Brizo
Hello, Gorgeous! The new Jason Wu line for Brizo is quietly sophisticated a combination that can be a challenge to achieve!

Jason Wu Canvas Tote
Me? Well of course I would like both but I would be happy snatching up this super cute canvas bag to tote all my paint samples around in. As for Jason Wu? Well thanks to Brizo I already got the best of him ...afterall a picture lasts more than a lifetime right?

Will you be visiting Target this weekend?

Color Time - Benjamin Moore Inner Glow

Welcome to another Color Time post! I remember years ago when I was looking for the perfect "Tuscan Yellow" for the kitchen in my apartment, it took weeks for me to finally make a selection. Yellow can be a challenge but this shade from Benjamin Moore could just have shot to the top of my favorite list! Inner Glow has a certain depth along with brightness a fabulous combo in a paint color!
