I am not one to usually do outfit to room posts I leave that for my friends like Cassandra who do it so well. This room from December's House Beautiful has just taken root in my mind and then I fell in love with this outfit. Do you think one has to do with the other? You betcha!
No one would describe me as a pink loving girl but there is something so calming and serene about this bedroom, that I think my mind might just be changed. You might remember I wrote about the pink trend here. As I listened to a 2012 trend webinar yesterday it was interesting to hear they are still talking about pink and olive green paired together! So if you are just getting use to a little pink in your life get ready there is about to be a whole lot more! Thankfully there are all shades from the more pink grey mauve (yes they used that word) to the pink sands a very pale hue of our friend Honeysuckle!

I am not a pink girl myself but I'm working on expanding my color horizons! And paterns for that matter (I tend to pick only solids). But I've been thinking about pink a lot lately and will certainly try some out. Not sure where or how just yet!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely not a die hard pink lover. However I think the right shade and pairings can create a really sophisticated, ethereal space. The grayed down shades are warm and inviting. Almost like a new neutral.
ReplyDeleteI j'adore pink! all shades ... every single one :) This pink is sublime. Totally relaxing, the new "spa" colour? Really pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell I am a pink girl and these are right up my alley. Goregous!
ReplyDeleteI am not normally a pink person, but the soft rose pink I am becoming more and more a huge fan of.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,

I love pink and that outfit is beautiful and the room dreamy,
