Gazing out across the lake

Truth be told I am more of a beach house girl than a lake house girl but when I came across this photo over on Amy's blog....well I literally heard myself take a deep breath. Doesn't it just ooze calmness? Those Adirondack chairs are the perfect type to curl your legs around and just lean back taking in the view. Give me a book, a cup of tea and let me just spend the day getting lost in my thoughts!

Isn't it amazing how a photo can evoke a certain feeling? Where is your favorite place to relax?
I hope you all have a great, relaxing weekend!
Thanks again for all the sweet comments you left this week! I love hearing from you and meeting new blogging friends!

I totally understand exactly what you mean... sometimes I see a photo, and it reminds me of a moment in my life, perhaps when I was younger, and I instantly love it, not just for the qualities it has, but for the qualities it gives back to me... thank you for making me realize it, and for sharing this pretty photo. It's gorgeous!

For me, relaxing includes my Mother's amazing garden and a glass of rosé, or, alternatively, a walk with my boyfriend.

I hope you have a relaxing weekend as well,

xoxo
