Yellow, seriously, it is all about sunshine. Every magazine I picked up this weekend featured some shade of happy sunshine yellow! It seems to be the color of the upcoming year as said here by Pantone. They picked Mimosa as the 2009 color! Explaining it as "the color yellow exemplifies the warmth and nurturing quality of the sun, properties we as humans are naturally drawn to for reassurance." Maybe it has to do with the depressing economic news but I have to admit, it is uplifting. To be honest I am not much of a yellow girl, but I could see it mixed in with last years favorites of Iris, Purple (which I still adore!) and Orange. Come along and share in some of my yellow finds, maybe I will just convert myself along the way!

I have heard nothing but how cool yellow is for months now! I was into yellow a few years ago, got hit heavily on the head with a neutral-thousand-shades-of-stone phase, but I am liking this photos you have up. I might be ready for old yeller again. I am doing a mosaic in my kitchen with yellow and white tiles c/c I was already committed to yellow there. I can't believe I am (almost) head of a trend. Hmmm.
