Pale Rose the new interiors color trend for 2010?

As so many of us interior folks know, fashion trends tend to be a sneak peek into interior trends. So when I opened the pre fall J.Crew catalog and saw all the "Dusty Rose" filling the pages I knew we might be on to something! The color is a more modern take on the mauve we knew from the 80's and mixed with a deep olive, it leads to a color trend for the upcoming year! I have pulled just a few images from around the web to give you an idea of what's to come!

The ultimate creative - Celerie Kemble

What a perfect way to end a long day than with a glass of red and "Catalog Monday" (or so what Cassie of Coco + Kelley and I have now named it). So when I opened my J Crew and saw THE Celerie Kemble in a fantastic ensemble I was delighted! I love when fashion and interiors collide in such a beautiful way. Along with modeling, Celerie gives us a little insight into why she loves designing for her clients. I admire how she describes the start to every new client as "learning how they live and what defines them"! Sounds so approachable doesn't it?
