Joss and Main + Jace Interiors = A Great Sale!

I was so excited when the Home Decor website Joss & Main asked me to curate a collection for their site. They came up with the theme "Something Borrowed, Something Blue" as a nod to the Jace Interiors philosophy of Design With What You Have and my upcoming wedding! It was such a fun experience going through their enormous catalog of goods to select 50 of my favorite pieces which was soon scaled back to 25.

Ashley put together this great mood board using pieces from the sale! I especially love how she added a wedding couple to the picture frame! Who knew folding chairs could be so stylish? I love the option above, it would easily fit into many room schemes!

I know we are all focused on holiday shopping and mine could be completed with these pieces, the discounted prices are just right!. The herringbone throw ($59) is so super cozy, the carafe and frame are both UNDER $20 and of course I will need to do a little shopping for myself so that blue lamp is all mine!

The Joss & Main collection is live until Thursday so please stop on over, their sales are really the best on the web! If you need an invitation just leave a comment with your email address. Thanks to Alexandra at Joss & Main for reaching out this has been such a great experience!

Recap of a Grateful Week!

It's Friday, yay! Though I will not complain this was a great week for Jace Interiors & CreateGirl. The week started with my tip on staying organized featured in The Boston Globe, than my guest post went live on the New England Home Magazine's blog and if that was not enough I was also included in the premiere issue of New England Finery online magazine. I am feeling so grateful for all this great press and want to thank each one of these amazing publications!

My guest post on New England Home Magazine's blog was all about my latest obsession, Grasscloth.
A funny thing happened, just after my Mom read the post she emailed saying when I was very little we had grasscloth in the living room to cover the horse hair walls. Such a coincidence as I don't remember this & never heard this story but wrote almost exactly this in my post!

In the premiere issue of New England Finery Magazine I was asked to describe why I love designing in New England. Click here to see my answer and no I don't reference the cold weather in any way!

In the Globe Luke O'Neil asked a few busy Bostonians to share our best "Time Saving Tips". My tip had to do with keeping a busy house organized but still looking home decor chic!

Next week I am off to The Design Blogger Conference in California. I am so excited to meet new blogger friends and to hang out with many of the friends I already know!!

Thanks again for all the comments and emails you send me daily, you make writing CreateGirl so much fun. Enjoy your weekends,
Jul

Monday Morning Happy!

Last week I received a wonderful tweet from Jennifer of CRAVE Boston informing me I had a quote in the latest "The Nest" magazine! Can I just say, seeing your name in print never gets old! It is so fantastic to be included in the article "How To Organize Everything" with so many of my favorite bloggers!

"My three rules to organize by: fabric boxes, wooden wine crates and purging!" CreateGirl

If you like the colorful Hable Construction fabric boxes featured with my tip, you can check them out here

Thanks to The Nest for including my tip and for being so open to featuring bloggers in your magazine!

Now it's your turn to share, what's your number one tip for staying organized?
