This idea had been brewing in my mind for over a year. As I attended all these wonderful conferences across the country I was continually meeting Boston designers and wondering why I was not meeting them at home? So I set out to create an event where designers could meet the friends they talk to daily on Twitter in real life and I have to say it was one wonderful evening! The fabulous Miggy and Roisin of Twelve Chairs offered up their creative space as our first gathering spot and acted as my partners in event planning! The local luxury magazine Perspective New England offered to be our sponsor for the night and we can't thank Jennifer enough!
Catching up with Yvonne Blacker and Erika of Radiant Republic
Katie Rosenfeld, Rachel Reider and Leslie Fine Twitter friends meeting for the first time!
We had an amazing turn out and as you can see people got comfy in the amazing Cisco Sofas scattered about the showroom!
Posing with our gracious hosts for the night Roisin and Miggy!
We plan to have @Studio140Boston events as the seasons change, if you would like to be added to the email list just send me a note julieann@jaceinteriors.com and follow us on Twitter!
Thanks to all the local designers, writers, manufacturers and photographers who attended! It's all of you who make our local design community amazing! We hope to see you at the next event!

Looks like a wonderful event! Thanks for sharing all of these lovely photos with us. Sometimes I wish we lived in the same city - well all the time...but think of all the fun/trouble we would get into :)

Hi, I'm having a wine tasting party at my home. The girl from the traveling vineyard is bringing the glasses and wine. I'd like to keep this as simple as possible. I have a white platter that is 18 1/2 x 14 inches and wondered if you have ideas on how I can display any of these on the tray- I like the prosciutto wraps and then 3-5 cheeses and crackers. Olives and dried fruit. And maybe sit some dark chocolate out. Then a banana cream pie and maybe cheesecake for at the end. Ideas?? If you have an email I could send you pics of my tray. I also have another tray that has 4 divisions with a center for items too - maybe the nuts, dried fruit in there, it's white too. Thank you. Lisa
