Focus the Built In
I must admit there are 2 things which will instantly make me love any house....front porches and built ins. Immediately they both give me a welcoming and possibly a nostalgic feeling. There is something so appealing about built ins, they are great confined spaces which give a certain dimension to any room. It can also act as a focal point of a room as we see in the Living Room photo below. I LOVE this beige and black room! This has now become an inspiration for a space in my bedroom, though on a much smaller scale. Imagine all the shelves I will have to create vignettes?! Ahhh heavenly!

*sigh*... i DO love me some built ins! there's something about having a flush wall instead of a chunky bookcase taking up space that's so appealing to the eye! that bathroom is divine... i could use a nice long soak right about now!
seriously beautiful built-ins!! A must over a tub! nothing is worse than sitting into a hot bubble bath and realizing you forgot your salt scrub .. or whatever.
but that bedroom is truly amazing.. ahhhh.. lovely...
